The location, only 10 minutes away from Filey and its stunning beach, made it a perfect retreat for a work trip in the area. the cottage's welcoming lounge with a view of the countryside was a peaceful spot to relax after a long day. I appreciated the thoughtful details such as the log burner, which added a touch of warmth and coziness in the evenings. the master bed was incredibly comfortable, and the great shower was a refreshing way to start the day. As a pet owner, I was delighted to find that the cottage was dog-friendly, allowing me to bring my furry companion along on the trip. The welcome hamper on arrival was a lovely gesture, and the fresh eggs from the farm's chickens, along with other essentials like milk and bread, added to the overall experience. the cottage was impeccably clean, both inside and out, and the peaceful garden area was a perfect place to unwind. I would highly recommend Chestnut Cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. the value for money was excellent, considering the level of luxury and comfort provided. the location next to a working farm added to the authentic experience, and the overall hospitality of the owners made my stay truly enjoyable.
